The ABL1 Orange/Green Probe is targeted to the 9q34.12 region on chromosome 9. The ABL1 probe is designed to label both ends of the ABL1 gene, respectively. A 800 Kb orange probe is designed at the 3' end of the ABL1 gene, and a 400 Kb green probe is designed at the 5' end of the ABL1 gene. The hybridized probe fluoresces with moderate to bright intensity both in interphase nuclei and metaphase chromosomes.
