The BCL6 Orange/Green Probe is targeted to the 3q27.3 region on chromosome 3. The BCL6 probe is designed to label both ends of the BCL6 gene, respectively. A 600 Kb orange probe is designed at the 3' end of the BCL6 gene, and a 950 Kb green probe is designed at the 5' end of the BCL6 gene. The hybridized probe fluoresces with moderate to bright intensity both in interphase nuclei and metaphase chromosomes.
