The MLL Orange/Green Probe is targeted to the 11q23.3 region on chromosome 11. The MLL probe is designed to label both ends of the MLL gene, respectively. A 600 Kb orange probe is designed at the 3' end of the MLL gene, and a 800 Kb green probe is designed at the 5' end of the MLL gene. The hybridized probe fluoresces with moderate to bright intensity both in interphase nuclei and metaphase chromosomes.
